How does online therapy for anxiety work?

After identifying factors contributing to your anxiety and clarifying your goals for therapy, we explore the different ways to help you get to where you want to be. We’ll focus on strategies and tools that you can use today to help you feel more grounded and calm, as well as gently explore and heal the deeper, underlying issues which contribute to your anxiety.

At each step I’ll explain the rationale for the approaches we can use in therapy, and always welcome all questions and concerns you may have along the way. Therapy is a collaborative process, and meeting you where you’re at so you can get the most out of our work together is important to me.

How do I know if I have anxiety?

Common signs of anxiety include difficulty controlling your worry, being worried about one or even several things, physical discomfort (ie., stomach- and headaches, muscle tension) and when it’s really intense, panic and overwhelm. When you start therapy, I’ll do a thorough assessment to identify, and help you understand, what you’re experiencing.

How do we get started?

The first step is to schedule a free consultation, so I can learn about your needs and what you’re seeking.
